  Mediocre food and ok service. We walk in and see the impressive wine cellar with Crystal Champagne and other very expensive wines and say to ourselves this will be nice. Then we noticed the details. Paper napkins and condiments in foil packs with $400 bottles of champagne? You could not have wine by the glass you must buy a bottle. We were seated and were given bread after other tables that came in after us. The Elk was a horrible cut and not prepared well at all. Then the couple next to us had a huge argument and the staff did not step in to ensure the other guests did have a negative experience. This couple grew louder and louder and only shut up when food arrived and their mouths were full.

  Very good ambiance. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
  I didn't get their specialty dishes which focus on game. They have wapiti, bison and venison.
  Perhaps I should have been more adventurous.
  My beef steak was good if not "outstanding"
  They have a large selection of wine.

  A perfect restaurant in Wendake. Easy to reach from city center. We tried bison meat and it was really delicious.
